Here’s How Much Snow Maine & New Hampshire Could See Friday Night
For the first time in several years, New England is seeing a snowy winter.
Even though we have not been dumped on by massive storms, there has been a regular pattern of smaller storms. For the last few months, we have gotten a storm or two each week. Each of these storms has dumped between two and six inches of snow on Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
Just has we have finished cleaning up from Thursday's storm, it looks as though we have another round of snow on the way Friday night.
Friday Night's Snow Event
According to WMTW Meteorologist Ted McInerney, Northern New Hampshire and Western Maine will get between 2" and 4" of snow.
The coast of Maine will see between a dusting and 2" of snow.
However, it is important to keep in mind that much of Central Maine (Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, and Auburn) lays on the line between a dusting and 4".
The good news is that this is a fast-moving storm that will not stick around long. The storm, which will hit us overnight, will switch over to a mix of precipitation on Saturday morning.
By the middle of the day on Saturday, most areas will start to see the return of sunshine.
Hopefully, this weather won't mess with your weekend plans too much.
