Maine Beach Club Throwing Free Magical Stargazing Parties on The Coast
Summer is magical in Maine. Why? Because you can actually see the stars.
When I traveled to the west coast, the first thing I noticed was that the pollution in the air prevented me from one of my most favorite things, stargazing.
So, if you are like me and enjoy the moments you get to look up at the outside of our world, also with a cocktail and the sound of the ocean, I have a gift for you.
The Tides Beach Club in Kennebunkport is giving all the celestial feels with it’s brand spanking new Stargazing Party Series.
This will be at the Tides Beach Club Lawn in Kennebunkport, from July 31, August 14, August 21, August 28 from 8–9 PM. The events will be weather dependent, as per the website.
Who wouldn't want to sit on the lawn and watch the stars in a place like this?
Cocktails, Constellations & Coastal Calm: Your Summer Stargazing Dream Awaits
This is part of a growing trend of astrotourism. It invites all people, travelers, and stargazers to take a moment to slow down, look up, and connect with the universe.
This beautiful event will be held on select Thursday evenings this summer and they are free to both hotel guests and locals to gather on the oceanfront lawn and experience the beauty of nature.
Here, let me give you a moment to picture it all.. You are sitting on the porch with fun themed cocktails and glorious views of the night sky, all while the Atlantic sparkles for you in the background.
The amazing people from the Astronomical Society of Norther New England (ASNNE) will be guiding you through the cosmos using high-powered telescopes and binoculars.
