New Hampshire Loves Ice Cream

New Hampshire may be a small state, but we loooove our ice cream, and there are a bunch of stands all over the state.  As it turns out, Memories Ice Cream in Kingston, New Hampshire, is the most popular in the entire state.

New Hampshire's Regional Favorite Ice Cream

According to traceone.com, they used Google Trends data for the 12 month period ending in April of 2024.  In short, the most-searched regional brand in each state represented the most popular.

That same article states that 90% of Americans like ice cream.  U.S. ice cream makers produce more than 1.38 billion (with a b) gallons annually, and the bulk of that is consumed in the warmer months.

New England's Most Popular Ice Cream

The same data claims that every state in New England has a favorite national brand, Ben & Jerry's.

Memories in Kingston is a great place to go.  They have a really good selection of non-dairy, non-fat, full-fat, fruity flavors, chocolate, vanilla, swirl, cone, no cone, etc., etc.  Memories also has plenty of parking, and animals that the kids can annoy while eating their tasty treats.  If you have to wait for a little bit in line, the kids will be occupied with all the things to do on the property itself.  I would say, it's quintessential New Hampshire.  Norman Rockwell may have chosen this place for one of his paintings.

Here are the directions to Memories.  Go check it out, and tell me how you like it.
