This church in Lowell, Mass was announced to become the "Jack Kerouac Center" in November of 2022, but because of the pandemic still going on, funding was stalled until now.

Sylvia Cunha, the Marketing and Business Development lead for the Kerouac Estate said:

Zach reached out in October, and right from the start, it was clear he shared our passion for honoring Jack’s legacy while also creating a dynamic, creative space. He stepped up and delivered in a big way, showing incredible generosity. Our immediate focus is to bring the building up to code so we can start using the space for music and other events while forming new partnerships to help us bring this vision to life and ensure its lasting success.

Saint Jean Baptiste Church will Feature Live Music, Exhibits and Community Events

As a creative person who has loved music, art and all things artistic my entire life, these words soothed my colorful soul.  The announcement said the space will become, "... a sanctuary for creativity."  It almost makes me wanna cry.

Who is Jack Kerouac

From what I remember about Jack Kerouac is that he was an American author/poet who wrote the book, "On the Road," that published sometime in the '50s.  It was inspiring to the Beat Generation of the time.
