Massachusetts Olympian ‘Clark Kent’ Revealed a Secret Talent on the ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
You may have seen the news about Worcester, Massachusetts, native Stephen Nedoroscik, affectionately known as the 'Clark Kent' during the Paris Olympics will now join the cast of Dancing with the Stars, Season 33, according to wwlp.com.
Stephen got that nickname for removing his glasses before his routine on the pommel horse.
He is also known as 'the pommel horse guy.' I call him 'Smiley Steve.' Whatever you want to call him, now, he's going for that disco ball trophy.
Recently, he was on the "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
Jimmy not only asked him about the pommel horse and the Olympics but also about his other talent: solving the Rubik's cube.
Stephen did it right then and there and solved it in 15 seconds.
How does he do that?
One thing that Stephen said when he was on with Fallon was that when he closed his eyes at the event, he was taking deep breaths and visualizing his routine "like 100 times."
I wonder if he does that to solve the Rubik's cube?
I didn't see him close his eyes, but visualization is so important, no matter what you are doing in life. See it in your mind's eye before it becomes a reality.
Will You Watch Dancing With the Stars?
The judges this year for DWTS are Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough. If you said those names in your head in the same voice as the announcer, you are not alone. I just did the same thing as I was writing.
The show will begin on September 17 on ABC and Disney+. ou can also watch the next day on Hulu.
Admittedly, I haven't watched Dancing with the Stars since New England's beloved Tom Bergeron left the show as the host, however, I think I may have to watch again. The Paris Olympics were, in general, wonderful to watch, in my opinion. There were many highlights including Simone Biles, but 'Clark Kent' was my favorite to watch. I think it was the joy in his face when he competed.
I like that Smiley Steve, and I hope he can put that Disco Ball trophy right next to his two bronze medals and his collection of Rubik's cubes.
