Police are looking for an SUV that may have been involved in a hit-and-run crash in Rochester on Monday morning.

A person was found lying in the road on North Main St, in the area of Burger King around 5:55 a.m., according to Rochester Police. A blue SUV that was seen in the area of North Main Street, Twombly Street and McDuffee Street is being sought by police.

The individual found in the road was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with potentially life threatening injuries.
