At this time of year recent high school graduates go off to their freshman year in college. And for those parents who are worried about their children, a recent study should reassure those of you with kids going to University of New Hampshire.

Is it me or are the stories where we're supposed to be outraged about something coming at a greater frequency? Now the University of New Hampshire is at the center of people pretending to be angry about... America.

It's a pretty cool time to be at UNH. Lee Brice performed there on Saturday, the weather is awesome again and one of the craziest holidays for a college student is here.

Pretty much every evening when I go to the gym at Planet Fitness, I see the same people.  There are folks there exercising after work, and there are always a bunch of UNH students getting their workouts in.

It is an exciting time for Wildcat fans, as UNH currently has two teams in the playoffs! Interestingly, both affairs pit 'Cats versus dogs.

What's better than starting the weekend early! One of country music's hottest acts who will be in Manchester on Thursday night.

You never would have known when you woke up on Saturday morning how nice the day was going to get. I did the early shift in Studio Big and was feeling bad for the graduates at UNH who were going to receive their diplomas in the rain.

Congratulations are in order for the University of New Hampshire School of Law!

The UNH Wildcats lost to the North Dakota State Bison Friday night by a final score of 52-7. Thus ends UNH's deepest football playoff run in school history. The 'Cats actually jumped out to a 7-0 lead behind a pick six, and the game was knotted at 7-7 after the first quarter. Twenty-four unanswered points in the second quarter and, well, yeah. That was it.

UNH football in late December? You bet! The football Wildcats are winners of nine of their past ten and six straight in a wild bid for their first national championship. They're certainly on a hot streak. As for their opponent? They've only won two consecutive national championships and twenty-two (!) straight games.

I'm an alum, I wanted to like it. But I'm not a fan. It looks like a security guard badge made with Microsoft Paint.
