Listen, I know cottage cheese is one of those foods you either love or hate, but I truly had NO IDEA that I would get the response I got from a Facebook post about the food that's made from the curds of slightly soured milk!

To be honest, I knew cottage cheese was made from curds, but did not know about the slightly soured milk part of the recipe (thanks, Google)!

Every once in a while I like to post a random question on WOKQ's Facebook page and the other day is was as simple as:
Cottage Cheese...
Yes or No

WOW... I was overwhelmed by the hundreds of responses that simple question got. Some people were passionately in love with cottage cheese and had their own way of eating it, while others said they wouldn't go near the stuff if their life depended on it. LOL.

In any case, I am showing you my favoite brand of cottage cheese. I first discovered this while living in Philly years ago. I was so exicted when I started to notice it pop-up in some area grocery stores around New Hampshire. The thing I like most about Friendship brand cottage cheese (I am not an endorser, just a fan), is that it's much smoother than any other brand of cottage cheese out there. I'm a fan of Frendship's 1% milkfat style, but it also comes in several other styles.

I've found Friendship cottage cheese at Market Basket in Seabrook and Wegmans in Burlington, Mass. I do hope more stores will start to carry this brand and all the varieties they offer.

In the meantime, feel free to scroll through some of the tasty ways our listeners use cottage cheese, or if you need a giggle scroll through and find out how much some other listeners despise the dairy product!
