Drivers going through the Lilac City may notice fewer road signs in various places as they drive through town. 

As Seacoast Online reported this week, Rochester recently made changes to city zoning laws, and as a result of it, has restricted where citizens can put signs for candidates for political office.

According to the article not everyone is in agreement with the changes as it depends on how officials interpret a state law regarding political signs. The article also notes how neighboring towns such as Somersworth and Dover do not restrict signs promoting political candidates.
