Dale was a Boston radio legend. He was inducted into the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2010. He worked at several different Boston stations, but I remember his most from his days at KISS 108. I remember his daily sign-on, "Hi Ma!" and how every Friday, he played Loverboy's "Working' for the Weekend." Toward the end of the song, when the band sings 'Come on baby let's go...Dale would open his mic and say scream "Come on Baby!" I would look forward to it every Friday.

For those of you who remember 'Creature Double Feature,' you may or may not know, Dale was the voice ever Saturday for that programming.

As a side note, back in my days of being a traffic reporter, I had the honor to be Dale's fill-in traffic reporter. It was crazy, here I was on the air with Dale 'freakin' Dorman!

RIP Dale, a true Boston radio icon.
