Exeter Woman Charged with DWI

(Hampton) -32 year old Meritel Saintil of Exeter  faces DWI charges after her arrest this morning at the Hampton Toll booths.  State police found her car facing north along two I95 Southbound lanes of the highway.

State Police believe that alcohol was a contributing factor in the early morning accident on I95.  32 year old Meritel Saintil's  Ford Taurus sustained heavy damage, with air bags deployed.  Investtaion revealed that she drove head onto into a crash barrier in place between the high speed lanes and regular toll plaza lanes.  Three Southbound lanes were closed for about half an hour, although traffic was allowed through via the high speed lanes. .  She was treated for non life-threatening injuries and will be arraigned at Circuit Court in Seabrook June 4^th.
