Manscaping Behind the Wheel, WOKQ Chowder Fest and Golfing for a Great Cause

I've done many things behind the wheel, some I'm not too proud of.  But, nothing I've done or heard other people confess to, compares to Matthew who posted on our Facebook page.

Matthew told us he has been known to clip his toenails while behind the wheel.

And, if that wasn't enough, Matthew also says he has made his lunch while driving.

I'd be curious to know how many points he has on his insurance! By the way, if Matthew ever offers to make you lunch, decline!

Who's Heading To The Bank Of New Hampshire Pavilion At Meadowbrook?

That's where you wanna be if you like chowder!  It's the 30th Annual WOKQ Chowder Fest!  The eatin' gets underway at 11:30am until the chowder is gone.  Mark and I will see you there.

The Homemakers Health Services Golf Tourney is coming up. All proceeds of the tournament will go toward providing home health, home support, education and respite care for families that are impacted by Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.

Remy Pleads Guilty To  Murder
The son of Boston Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy has pleaded guilty to murder for stabbing his girlfriend last year. Jared Remy pleaded guilty yesterday to first-degree murder, assault and battery, and violating a restraining order, among other charges. The 35-year-old was given the mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole.

Mazzaglia Jurors Sworn In 
Jurors in the murder trial of Seth Mazzaglia were sworn in Tuesday.  The 31-year-old Dover man is accused of raping and killing a 19-year-old UNH student then dumping her body in a river. Opening statements begin today.

Jury Still Out In Bangor
A Bangor jury will begin deliberating for a fifth day today in the trial of two men charged with killing three people before burning their bodies in a car after a drug dispute. Randall Daluz of Brockton,Massachusetts, and Nicholas Sexton of Warwick,Rhode Island, are charged with three counts of murder and one count of arson. They face maximum sentences of life in prison.

Stupid News

Jeffrey Smith is very patriotic.  He designed a tribute to soldiers to be used in parades and other events around Nashville over the Memorial Day weekend.  The tricked out van had camouflage pain and a bunch of fake weapons, including missiles, a cannon and machine guns.  The 'weapons' were made of wood and PVC piping. Unfortunately, the van broke down on a road just outside of the Nashville International Airport.  Police received numerous calls about a weaponized van so close to the airport.
