If you frequent the McDonald's on Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, you'll need to make other plans for the next several weeks!

Larry Jonson, who is the brand ambassador for seacoast area McDonald's says the Lafayette Road location will be closed for several weeks as it undergoes some major renovations.

Johnson told Seacoast Online that particular McDonald's restaurant has been opened since 1971 and it really needed a face lift.

The projected re-opening is slated to be sometime in late March or early April.

You may remember back in June of 2017, a pick-up truck crashed into the building causing some damage.

The Napoli group owns several of the McDonald's locations around the area including, Newington, Hampton, Dover, Lee, Portsmouth, Greenland, Exeter and Kittery, Maine. The Hampton restaurant is apparently next on the list to receive an upgrade, while Kittery could see some renovations in the near future as well.
