Utility scam
Liberty Utilities is warning the public about a scam in which people are posing as utility representatives to get social security numbers, billing and banking information. The utility heard of several instances in Salem, Lebanon and Walpole, New Hampshire, on Wednesday.

PDA to consider historic wells to help golf course
The Pease Development Authority is considering using historic wells to help water the Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth. PDA Executive Director Dave Mullen tells The Portsmouth Herald the authority is moving forward with a feasibility study to see if it's possible to use the "old Frank Jones wells" to water the 27-hole course.
