Obama to meet with Raul Castro 
President Barack Obama is beginning his first full day in Cuba. Today, he'll lay a wreath at the memorial to Jose Marti, a Cuban independence hero, before heading to Raul Castro's presidential offices. After a series of meetings, the two leaders plan to address reporters. Obama is also planning an event with U.S. and Cuban entrepreneurs aimed at championing Cuba's fledgling private sector. Then he'll attend a state dinner in the evening.

Bill would have Statehouse open 6 days a week
The House is taking up a bill this week that would lay the groundwork for the Statehouse to remain open on Saturdays during the summer. The proposal would allow the state to enter into an agreement with an outside entity that would pay for Statehouse weekend operations, including security and staffing for potential tours.

Meetings this week on drinking water
Public meetings will be held this week in the towns of Merrimack and Litchfield to discuss the results of recent tests related to the presence of a contaminant in drinking water at the Saint-Gobain facility in Merrimack. The tests were conducted after Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics found the presence of the chemical PFOA in its drinking water.
