Sniper attack in Dallas kills 5 police officers
As the city of Dallas mourns the killings of five police officers, Mayor Mike Rawlings says one of four suspects in last night's attack is dead. Three other suspects are in custody. Rawlings also updated the media saying now 12 officers and 2 civilians were shot. President Barack Obama is calling the sniper attack "despicable," and says there is no justification for the violence

Hearing set for next month in Celina Cass murder case
A hearing is planned for next month on whether a New Hampshire man accused of killing his 11-year-old stepdaughter five years ago is mentally competent to stand trial. The competency hearing for 52-year-old Wendell Noyes is scheduled for Aug. 11 in Colebrook. Noyes if facing a second degree murder charge in the death of Celina Cass back in 2011.
