New Hampshire "native" Adam Sandler has found himself the center of a controversy involving Native American Indian actors involved in his new movie "The Ridiculous Six".

According to the Associated Press, a group of American Indian actors took exception to what they felt was a script that featured stereotypical comedy, offensive names and demeaning references to Indian religious practices. Loren Anthony and eight other actors walked off the set in protest when the producers ignored their complaints.

The collaboration between Sandler and Netflix is supposed to be, according to their spokesperson, "a broad satire of Western movies and the stereotypes they popularized."

Not having seen the script or the actual footage being shot it's hard to judge, but the question is where does the borderline between parody/comedy and comedy done in bad taste exist ?

Adam Sandler has yet to make a public comment.
