(Portsmouth, NH) - The Piscataqua Maritime Commission has announced that due to contractual and logistical constraints, there will be no Tall Ships visiting this year.
Since 2002, the PMC has hosted the Sail Portsmouth event, bringing one to five of the Tall Ships to Portsmouth for a weekend of on-board visits and tours.

While the Tall Ships will not return until next summer, the Sea Challenge sail-training program for seacoast-area teens will add a second schooner this year.

Both the Roseway and the Harvey Gamage will take part in the session Aug. 7 through 14.

Since 2009, the Sea Challenge has offered teens the opportunity for a week of personal development and discovery, goal setting, challenge and growth.
