If you love hunting and you love whiskey, this New Hampshire distillery has found a way to combine the two!

Tamworth Distilling and Mercantile in Tamworth, NH has come up with a new drink to try this holiday season.

Just in time for deer hunting, the distillery has created a venison flavored whiskey.  According to Fox News, the interesting flavored liquor will go on sale in mid November right here in the Granite State.

According to Tamworth's website, the liquor will be called The Deerslayer. They say it will have "the flora and fauna of New Hampshire in autumn — in particular, venison!"

Tamworth says of the whiskey:

"Savory and smoky notes characterize this one-of-a-kind spirit, with a subtle spice on the palate and a lingering finish,"

Fox News reports that the bottles will sell for $65.00 each.  In addition to debuting the new whiskey, Tamworth Distilling is also holding a scavenger hunt! Teams of six will compete for a $300 prize!

Steven Grasse of Tamworth Distilling tells Forbes. com, that the whiskey will actually taste like deer and he says it's a nice compliment to the sweetness of the wheat whiskey.

I'm definitely not brave enough to try this, so if you get a bottle, be sure to let me know how it is and I'll live vicariously through you!
