This pretty lady is 53-years-young and her name is Ms. Jennifer. She has lived in Waltham, Massachusetts for most of her life but is now looking for a new home. Her owner tragically passed away from the Coronavirus.

As a proud owner of a turtle, I can tell you they are a fantastic and low-maintenance pet. You feed them a few times a week, make sure they have plenty of sunlight, it is only a few steps up from owning a house plant. I have had 8 great years with my turtle Schlomo, I wouldn't trade them for the world!

According to NBC Boston, Ms. Jennifer weighs in at a slender four pounds making her the perfect size for any animal lover. She has been under the loving care of the crew at the MSPCA since May 9th.

Of course, Ms. Jennifer is not the only animal that has been left behind due to the Coronavirus. Their owners have either fallen ill or are no longer able to care for them financially. If you are looking or a new furry or scaly addition to your family, the MSPCA-Angell’s Boston adoption center has plenty to choose from. If you want to learn more about Ms. Jennifer or any of the other animals. feel free to send an email to adoption@mspca.org.
