The Goodwill Store in Manchester, New Hampshire is huge and it has a great selection of Halloween costumes, but really, what's the fun if it's all done for you.  The fun part is to get creative with your costume.  I like to buy clothes that I might wear on another day, not just Halloween.

Great NH Halloween Costumes With Normal Clothes

There are many costumes that you could dress up as that are regular clothes. You don't have to wear fishnets or reeeeally uncomfortable shoes, you can wear really comfy clothes and still join the fun.  For example, I went to my own Halloween party as my Mother's boyfriend, Lenny.  He was constantly in pajamas and smoked and drank like a fish.  That combined with the old fashioned eye glasses and I was good to go.  My family thought it was hilarious and got it right away.  Just to make sure, I wore a name tag on the PJ's.

I love dressing up in costume in regular clothes.  It just speaks to my practical side and if you do it right, you get cool points for creativity

A Hippie:  There are so many clothes at Goodwill for this!  Look for Bell Bottoms, a half shirt and a head band.  You'll be good to go.  Bonus if you find a Grateful Dead T-Shirt.

That woman from Severance:  Her character name is Helly R and she is AMAZING in the Apple Series, Severance.  It's my favorite show of 2025.  You need to find this blue dress and a red wig and you are good to go.

A Tacky Tourist:  Put on a "Live Free or Die" T-Shirt or a "Welcome to Maine" shirt, some sunglasses and pack a basket full of sunscreen.  You're welcome.

Dwight Schrute from The Office:  This one is fun.  You'll need to look for the classic yellow-ish short sleeved dress shirt, a tie, glasses and there you have it.
