A Boston Bruin and a New England Patriot Are Going Head-to-Head in an Epic Ping Pong Match
Two of New England's own professional athletes are going at it, and you can go watch them in person when they do.
It's called Spin, and it's the newest club in Boston that originally opened very quietly back in 2020. Understandably, because of the pandemic, the true grand opening was postponed until now. So, Spin decided to go big now that it can finally and officially say hello to New England and the Boston area.
It's a ping pong social club in several cities around the country, and known for its unique combination of art, entertainment, and sports all under one roof.
And what better way to say "Hey Boston, we're here and ready for you" then with an epic ping pong battle of professional proportions? This won't involve professional ping pong players, but two of New England's own professional athletes.
Two of the biggest names in New England sports, Boston Bruins' David Pastrnak (known as "Pasta", who plays right wing), and New England Patriots' Matthew Judon (a linebacker) will face at center court in an epic ping pong showdown on Friday, October 21, at around 9:30.
Everyone is invited to grab handcrafted cocktails with that unique twist from true mixologists and enjoy mouthwatering food and see who is better at ping pong.
What a fun way to see two current professional athletes from New England go for it in a fun game that we all love to play. Who are you rooting for?
