A Major Change Possible In The Salisbury Beach Landscape?

The famous carousel could see a return to the strip!

I've heard my Dad talk about this but I never saw it for myself.

For decades, Salisbury Beach, MA was known for it's elaborate carousel.  It was where the kids hung out.  It was also known as the "Flying Horses" (although being from around there I'm guessing everyone said "flyin' hawsiz

The landmark was removed from town in the 70's.

Now, the Newburyport News reports that the carousel may be making a return.

Apparently a few business owners in town have located the actual carousel in California and their hope is to buy it and bring it back to it's original home in Salisbury Beach.
