A New England Woman Was Attacked by 6 Pit Bulls. Should They Be Outlawed?

Let me start off by saying that I'm a dog lover! I personally have three dogs, including two rescues, and three cats, including two rescues.

I read so many stories like this recent one, with pit bulls attacking and mauling someone. Enough is enough!

According to NBCBoston.com, a woman was attacked by six pit bulls while walking her dog in Taunton, Massachusetts. The dog she was walking was killed.

I feel like I never hear of someone being attacked by a golden retriever or a labrador.

Whenever I see a pit bull, I'm terrified!

My heart goes out to Rochelle Silver and her dog.

"I thought I was going to die. The chunks that were coming out of my body, I could feel them," she told NBC Boston.

Thankfully, a police officer was patrolling the area and saw what was happening and was able to intervene, the news station reported.

Rochelle is recovering in the hospital from her wounds, according to NBC Boston, and the six dogs are currently locked up.
