A New Hampshire Couple Is Charged With Voting Twice In The 2016 Election
(Concord, NH) - The Attorney Generals office says John and Grace Fleming of Hampton are accused of casting votes in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
The Rockingham County Grand Jury indicted 71 year old John S. Fleming Junior and 70 year old Grace Fleming for alleged violations of state laws for knowingly voting twice in the same election.
According to the indictments, the couple allegedly cast absentee ballots in Hampton for the November 8th, 2016 general election, and also cast ballots for the same election in Belchertown, Massachusetts.
The Flemings are scheduled to be arraigned in Rockingham County Superior Court on October, 5th.
Each of the felony charges carries a maximum penalty of 3 1/2 to 7 years of imprisonment and a $4,000 fine.
