Maine Family Had A Breakfast Date With A Family of Black Bears

As it turns out, a family of black bears enjoying breakfast in your backyard is not a quiet sound. Steve Rogers of Wells, Maine found out that lesson first hand this past weekend. According to WMTW, Rogers and his wife have been living in Wells for many years and have never seen a black bear never mind that up close and personal!

Instead of having the "GET OFF MY LAWN" mentality or being afraid of the mama and her cubs, Steve found the whole thing very exciting and hopes that Berenstain Bears return again sometime. (I suppose that reference doesn't make sense since the Berenstain Bears were brown but you see what I'm going for)

Wells Maine Police reshared the video on their Facebook Page advising residents of the area to put away their bird feeders and secure their trash.
