A Woman Is Hospitalized After Her Car Landed In The Merrimack River

(Concord, NH) - NH State Police say the SUV went off I-93 Northbound around 5:30 Monday evening. The vehicle crossed a field, went airborne and landed upside down in the river.

Concord Fire and Rescue crews were able to stabilize the vehicle that was fully submerged and on its roof. They extricated the female driver who is in critical condition at Concord Hospital.

Police have not released the womans name.
