Turns out the rumors about Adam Sandler being back in New Hampshire were true.

The "Happy Gilmore" star was spotted in a number of places recently, including two popular restaurants.

The Sandman visited both The Friendly Toast in Bedford and Puritan Backroom in Manchester.

Adam Sandler Spotted at The Friendly Toast in Bedford, New Hampshire

Even though Adam Sandler grew up in New Hampshire, I imagine it's still a pleasant shock for locals to see him in person in the Granite State. He is a Hollywood star after all!

At the same time, the guy seems so down-to-earth, and so generous and kind to stop and take the number of selfies he does with people. I can't even imagine going out to eat and being bombarded nonstop by people watching me do anything or coming up to say hello.

And yet, he does, like when he was in fellow "Saturday Night Live" alum Seth Meyers' town of Bedford at The Friendly Toast on Wednesday, October 28.

According to Yahoo, Sandler was at the restaurant with his mother, celebrating her birthday.

But that didn't prevent him from taking a picture with The Friendly Toast staff or even buying breakfast for a woman and her friends who were celebrating her birthday. Must have been a very cool moment for all.

Sandler also hit up one of his go-to favorite places in his hometown of Manchester: Puritan Backroom.

The popular spot is credited with the invention of the chicken tender and even earned a James Beard award in 2020.

I recently had the chance to check it out for the first time and definitely walked away satisfied and full. Honestly, there was so much food; the portions were huge, but they were delicious. (I wish I could have made some room for the homemade ice cream. Maybe next time!)

Maybe Sandler got chicken tenders? Maybe, maybe not. But what we do know is that, like at The Friendly Toast, he was still willing to take a moment with some local fans and snap a picture or two.

This isn't the first time he's been to Puritan Backroom, and it definitely won't be his last. Gotta love the New Hampshire love!

Seeing Sandler out and about in New Hampshire is such a reminder of how close he is to the state where he grew up. On top of that, he continues to make time for locals, whether he's celebrating his mom's birthday or just grabbing a bite to eat.

He also certainly seems to have a good sense of some of the best spots to eat. Wonder what other New Hampshire restaurant recommendations he might have?
