Vandals Destroy Sand Sculptures on Hampton Beach

It appears vandals destroyed many of the sand sculptures on Hampton Beach.

Hampton Beach's Facebook page says the sculptures will be standing until July 6th and will be lit for night viewing. Below are pictures I took earlier this week, before the vandalism took place. Such a shame to ruin such amazing works of art.

1st Place went to "Rising From the Abyss" by Guy-Olivier Deveau of Quebec
(also won the Sculptor's Choice Award)

2nd Place went to "All Together Now" by Abe Waterman of Prince Edward Island, Canada

3rd Place was 'Emerge,' by David Andrews from Wisconsin

4th Place: "Dada Read" by Carl Jara - Cleveland, Ohio

5th Place: "Phoenix Rising" by Karen Fralich - Quebec
