Well, the news hit hard yesterday.  Kenny Chesney officially cancelled the Chillixafication tour.  I think we all thought if anyone can pull it off, somehow it would be Kenny.  I know there are shows into the fall, but for me, Kenny's Gillette Stadium show was something that just capped off summer.

Kenny wanted to let his fans know himself:

Kenny's not the first to cancel his 2020 tour, and unfortunately probably not going to be the last. Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley, Maren Morris, Sugarland, Brooks and Dunn and more all cancelled.  It's such a bummer but I understand that these artists love their fans and the number one priority is keeping everyone safe.

Exactly how to do that at a concert no one has figured out quite yet.

I've been getting a lot of phone calls and emails from our listeners asking about tickets.  So, here's what's happening.   If you won tickets to a show that is being rescheduled, hold on to your tickets.  They WILL be honored for the rescheduled show.

If the tour has been cancelled altogether, unfortunately that means no tickets.  It sucks.  I know.  I get it.   If there are any changes or new information we'll be sure to update you.

There's nothing better than a live show, the music loud, drinks flowing and the connection between the fans and their favorite country star.

It will happen again.  We don't know when, or where, but we do know that time will come and we'll all be their singing at the top of our lungs together.
