Rising Star Annie Bosko Will Perform on 97.5 WOKQ Sessions Stage

You never know who is going to grace our #WOKQsessions stage next! In the past, we have welcomed artists like Lo Cash, Jackson Dean, Dylan Scott, and Runaway June, just to name a few. It is a real treat to see these artists perform in such an intimate space. Our listeners get to ask the artists questions, take photos with them, and when they leave, we all feel like best friends! It is thrilling to follow these artists' careers and watch them take off.

Next up on the WOKQ Sessions Stage is..... Annie Bosko!

Annie Bosko is gearing up to release “Boots On”, which is described as a high-energy, modern women’s empowerment anthem with a tip of the hat to ‘90s country. In conjunction with this release, Bosko will be featured in a national ad campaign for Ariat, the largest equestrian footwear and apparel company in the world.

Annie recently released “Dandelions,” cowritten with Danny Myrick on March 27, 2023, after learning of the tragedy of the Covenant School shooting. Stone Country Records will be donating all proceeds from the song to ACM Lifting Lives to support mental health services for Covenant School families, faculty, and staff.

In her neo-traditional approach, Annie doesn’t shy away from fiddle or steel guitar, reminiscent of the country sound that drove her to Nashville at the age of 19, while infusing her unique western edge to create a style all her own.

Annie is a California native, farmer’s daughter, and the middle of five children. Rolling Stone has praised how she "mixes her innate West Coast chill with country’s personal lyrics.”
