Kick Off Fall At New Hampshire’s Applecrest Harvest Festival

If you’re someone who gets very excited at the first hint of crisp fall air, apple picking and everything pumpkin-spiced, you’re going to want to make your way to Applecrest Farm Orchards this weekend!

The Hampton Falls farm is kicking off its fall season with its first Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th, and there’s plenty planned to get you into the autumn spirit.

Admission and parking are free, and visitors can spend the day picking their own apples, peaches, nectarines, raspberries and strawberries. There will also be free tractor rides, live bluegrass music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a corn roast, a corn maze and barnyard animals.

And, of course, no fall farm adventure would be complete without ice cream! The Creamery will be open from noon until 9 p.m., while the Orchard Grille will be serving lunch and dinner and hosting its Beer Garden throughout the weekend.

Applecrest has been part of the Seacoast community for generations. The farm dates back to 1913, when Walter Baldwin Farmer established Applecrest Farm Orchards and began planting thousands of apple trees. The Wagner family purchased the farm in 1954, and the farm remains a family-run, fourth-generation operation today.

Interestingly, the farm’s first fall festival was started by Jean Wagner decades ago.
