April the Giraffe’s Calf has been Named
Ladies and gentlemen, we finally have a name for the baby giraffe!
The calf, which was born to 'April' on April 15th finally has a name! The big announcement was made today on 'Good Morning America.'
April, her companion Oliver and Tajiri (Taj, for short) all live at the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, N.Y.
The name Tajiri means "hope" in Swahili.
