Watching wildlife is something that amazes me, and a lot of people. Animals and humans are so similar. That is why animal documentaries, like Planet Earth, are so popular.

Animals and humans have instincts built inside of us that are hard to comprehend. Like an animal giving birth. They do not have a gynecologist or even a health class to learn what is about to happen - it just happens.

Motherly instincts are some of the wildest instincts. Think about your mom. How many times were you doing something wrong, and she knew without really knowing? They just know.

Last week, a video went viral of a mama bobcat protecting her babies in Londonderry, New Hampshire. The mama bobcat acts just like a human mother would.

In the video below, you can see the mamabobcat trying to gather all of her children on the sidewalk. Kids being kids, the bobkittens keep running into the street. At first, the mom tries to call them. That does not work.

She escalates things, like moms do when you misbehave, and she grabs one of the babies in her mouth. She repeats, grabbing two from the road until she can run away with her family safely. Check out the video below:

Mama animals are going to do what mama animals need to do. Just like human animals.

This is not the first time an adorable and wholesome moment like this has been captured on camera. Last week, a mama bear was swimming with two bear cubs on her back across a reservoir in Massachusetts.
