"The more wine, the better." Sarah Sullivan - Local DJ and Wine Enthusiast
There is a new Wine Bar that just opened up in Salem, New Hampshire. It looks beautiful and from one of the videos on its Facebook page, looks bigger than it does in the pictures.

AV Wine Bar is located in the Tuscan Village in Salem, New Hampshire and it just opened in January of 2026.
The wine bar is owned and founded by winemaker, Mike Appolo, who specialize in cold climate grapes that are perfect for cold New England winters.
This New Salem, NH Bar Offers Organic Wines
From what I found from patch.com, the wine bar offers organic New Hampshire wines. You can also order food (small plates) from a menu that will pair well with your wine. Sounds perfect. I couldn't just sit there all night without ordering food. They'd have to carry me out.
If you like the wine that you drink in the bar, of course, you can buy a bottle to take home.
New Hampshire Has a Respectable Number of Local Wineries
I have always been very supportive of local New Hampshire wineries like LaBelle Winery in Amherst and Derry, Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown and Flag Hill Distillery and Winery in Lee. Not to mention the Mead makers of Sap House and Moonlight Meadery. Some local wine makers have had to go through a bit of a growing stage. They didn't jump out of the box (or the bottle, I should say) with a homerun, but, they got waaaay better as time went on. They were, after all, trying to grow grapes in one of the coldest places in the country.
I look forward to trying this place and I'll let you know how I liked it!
