Bakery in Maine has been named as one of the nation’s top bakeries

We are very lucky to live in New England winning honors for things like best beaches and such. Now comes news that the Night Moves Bakery in Maine has been named as one of the nation's top bakeries! WMTW.com reports that Night Moves was selected and is located in the Pepperell Mill, Maine. The Food Network just released the list last week.

Maybe one of the reasons Night Moves Bakery made the list was its use of only Maine grown grains. The grains, from a grist mill in Skowhegan, make for some great bread. But the Night Moves Bakery is not just about the bread (which is delicious in addition to being locally sourced) they make loads of baked goods including cookies, pies, and brownies reports WMTW.com.

Maine residents know a good thing when they taste it. The bread is served by many local restaurants. The Night Moves Bakery is open on Fridays and Saturdays but you can pre-order the bread for pickup.

Also making the Food Networks list year is the Orchard Hill Breadworks in East Alsted, New Hampshire, Seven Starts Bakery in Providence, Rhode Island and Red Hen Baking in Middlesex, Vermont according to the judges at the Food Network.
