Tiny Kingston, NH, Bakeshop is Getting a Big Upgrade

I have been following Taryn Merrill's career path for a few years now, and I am a big fan! She is a hardworking and talented go-getter, and I love supporting local people like that.

Taryn attended Johnson and Whales, where she earned her degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. Over the past few years, she has made her way around New England as a cake decorator, pastry cook, and Adjunct Pastry Professor at Lakes Region Community College.

She first opened Fresh AF Bakeshop out of her home in Newmarket, New Hampshire. Since then, she moved to a great little spot in Kingston, New Hampshire.

She's known on these streets for thinking outside the cupcake tin, and her recent Dill dough bites topped with pickles are a prime example of this:

But as her bakery grew in popularity, it became clear Fresh AF Bakeshop needed more space. It's a good problem to have!

Taryn took to social media to share the exciting news with her Fresh AF community that the bakery will be moving to a 2,000-square-foot space in Plaistow in May. UPGRADE ALERT!

So what does this mean for their Kingston location?

They will be operating business as usual in their Kingston location until their 4/20 BLOWOUT celebration. It's their biggest day of the year, and they are inviting everyone to celebrate for a grand send-off .

Both locations will be closed for a brief transition & training period before opening their doors in Plaistow once they get the "all clear" from the town!

When will the Plaistow location be open?

The goal is to be open for Mother's Day walk-ins!

What is different about the Plaistow location vs Kingston?

THEY HAVE SEATING!!! Not only that, but their kitchen will be open, so you can watch the magic happen while enjoying your treats. They will be starting slow with their existing options & an expanded coffee menu, but as they earn their wings, they'll be expanding into sandwiches, lunch, and take-home dinner options. They will also be expanding their open days & hours once they feel comfortable to do so.

Congratulations to Taryn and the Fresh AF Bakeshop team on their continued and well-deserved success. I can't wait to check out the new location in Plaistow once they're open for business!
