The Best Apple Pie is Crowned at Apple Harvest Day

Every year, at Henry Law Park in Dover, an adult winner is crowned for the best apple pie in all of New England.  There is also a kids division for the budding bakers in your family. It all happens at the 41st Annual Apple Harvest Day in downtown Dover, New Hampshire.

Amateur Pie Bakers Can Enter 2 Divisions

Adults:  16 years of age or older

Youth:  15 years of age or younger

What You Will Win

The Adult Division Winner will get a cool trophy from Tut's Trophy's to display, a swag bag filled with all kinds of WOKQ goodies and two tickets to see the legendary ALABAMA in concert at the SNHU Arena in Manchester on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

The Kids Division Winner is going home with their own cool trophy from Tut's Trophy's to display, a swag bag filled with all kinds of WOKQ goodies and gift certificates to The Pink Hippo Cafe so they can get some yummy treats including the famous Congdon's donuts!

Both divisions will get bragging rights for a whole year!

Dover, NH's Not to be Missed Event

The 41st Annual Apple Harvest Day festival is Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9am to 4pm featuring 300 vendors, food courts, live entertainment all day and much more, all presented by the Dover Chamber of Commerce.   

Expect to see tons of people, the event draws more than 60,000 people in Downtown Dover.

NOTE! The WOKQ Apple Pie contest is open for up to 12 entries, so be sure to register early to secure your spot!

Other Things to Remember about the Apple Pie Contest

• You MUST REGISTER on the form below.
• Bring your pie to Henry Law Park by 11:00 a.m. the latest on Saturday, October 4, 2025. There are a lot of people at the event, so give yourself enough time.
• One registration per person limit
• As a parent or guardian or friend, etc., if you are helping your child make the apple pie for the kids division, of course, that is allowed, however, please make sure the majority of the work is done by the child.
• The judges pick for each division is final
