No doubt about it. Here in New England we LOVE our fried clams. We should! The fried clam was invented here, so we know how to do it.

This is the only place on this list I haven't tried, but people really love the seafood.

#1.... drum roll please...... Ceal's Clam Stand in Seabrook, New Hampshire
I have eaten fried claims at every single one of these places except the Bun & Bowl in Alton and I agree, they are all super tasty.
I should also mention that these places are not the only ones in New England that are amazing. You can find them everywhere, but these are the places that most all the locals know.

One thing that I have noticed with these clam restaurants is that they all have that "hard work" feeling to them, you know? You walk in and you can tell that the people here have worked very hard for what they have and want to give you the best New England experience you've ever had.
I DO have a few favorites from this list... if I HAD TO pick out three of them.... Ceal's, Ken's, Woodman's and Park Lunch. I know that was four, but damn, it hard to choose.
