Big Traffic Issues In Portsmouth Starting Monday Morning And Lasting For Months

Expect some major traffic issues starting Monday, January 29th. According to the City of Portsmouth, the Stark Street Bridge will be closed to both cars and pedestrian traffic, from now until Columbus Day.

The city's website says, the Rt. 1 Bypass will permit temporary lane closures. But be prepared complete traffic shut downs  on the Bypass from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. The city claims shutdowns won't last longer than 15 minutes, with only two shutdowns per hour.
