Well, this just might be the best thing I have seen in 2024.

This story took place back in early May. However, it has taken a few months to surface. But now that it has, we need to make this go viral, because it deserves so much attention.

A young man in Boston, Massachusetts, called 911 to ask for one thing: birthday wishes.

According to the department, his exact words were, “I want someone to say happy birthday to me.”

Officers Israel Bracho and Franklin Ortiz, who originally thought the call was a joke, jumped into birthday hero mode when they verified the caller's birthday and realized he was serious. He simply wanted someone to say happy birthday to him.

“Everyone has one birthday, so everyone deserves to feel special on that one day,” said Officer Bracho, according to a New York Post article.

Without hesitation, the pair of officers headed to the newly 25-year-old's home, but not without stopping for some candles and a cake.

After singing, blowing out candles, and shaking. hands, you could tell the officers made this young man's night.

To the officers in the video below, thank you. Thank you for representing our community. If it were not for you showing up, doing the right thing, and making this man's night, he may not have felt the love that he deserved on his special day.

Most importantly, thank you for representing New England, police officers, and good people everywhere. You made a difference and you are appreciated.

Here is the full video. Grab some tissues for your happy tears.
