Knowing that this 'Star is Born', 'The Hangover', 'Wedding Crashers', and 'Silver Linings Playbook' superstar will be gracing the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in May feels road trip-worthy. It could also possibly be a big break into Hollywood.

In a way, Bradley is joining the Boston Symphony Orchestra on stage in May 2022 at their famous summer home in Western Massachusetts: the Tanglewood music venue in Lenox.  He's directing and starring in a movie there that will put him on the stage with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The film is called 'Maestro'.

'Maestro' is Bradley's directorial debut, according to Boston.com.  It's a biopic of the legendary Boston native and composer Leonard Bernstein, who Bradley will also star as. So, it's clearly fitting to film at Tanglewood where the Boston Symphony Orchestra has played since 1937, and where Bernstein spent much of his life.

After Bernstein retired from composing, he returned to Tanglewood annually to teach until he passed away at his home in New York in 1990, so his Tanglewood history is storied as Boston.com points out.

It's home to some of the most transformative moments of his storied career. The “West Side Story” composer studied conducting under BSO music director Serge Koussevitzky in the 1940s, later becoming his mentor’s conducting assistant. He conducted his first opera there in 1946, and took over as the head of the orchestra following Koussevitzky’s death in 1951.

If you're ready to go for it, click on this casting link for the New York-based Grant Wilfley Casting Inc., because they're looking for both men and women to be extras in scenes set in the 1940s and 1980s.
