It's small town USA at it's finest.  The tiny town of Carroll, New Hampshire, has less than 1,000 full-time residents, according to the 2020 Census.

Carroll is located near Twin Mountain, close to Bretton Woods and the infamous Mount Washington Hotel.  It's a gorgeous place to live, especially if you have a good sense of humor.

Here's the holiday post from the Carroll Police Department Facebook page.  Funny, but to the point.

It seems the Carroll Police Department is serious about their job, but likes to have fun too, as evident with the latest offering for 2023. from the Carroll Police Department Facebook page.

The department has devised a new "tourism humor patch" as a souvenir for locals and tourists, and it's hilarious.  It features the Mount Washington Hotel in the background, and a moose holding a sign which says "WILL DO MOOSE STUFF FOR MONEY".

The Carroll PD is offering this patch for $15, but you have to go to the station to purchase it, or the regular duty sticker or patch for $10.

Not only are these patches part of the seriousness but lightheartedness of this force, but this post explains what happened with its mascot.

So, congrats to the Carroll Police Department in New Hampshire for keeping everyone safe and infusing a sense of humor to the department for the sake of the townspeople and the thousands of tourists who visit the area every year.

Watch out for that moose, too.
