Christa McAuliffe’s Lesson Plans Will be Taught in Space
If you were old enough to remember January 28, 1986 then you know exactly what you were doing the moment you heard the terrible news.
Now, thirty-two years later, New Hampshire teacher Christa McAuliffe, who perished along with her six crewmates aboard the Challenger, will finally have her lost lesson plans taught from space. McAuliffe, was a teacher at Concord High School.
According to the Associated Press, two teachers turned astronauts, Joe Acaba and Ricky Arnold, will carry out some of Christa's lesson plans from the ISS (International Space Station).
What a wonderful way to pay tribute to not only Christa McAuliffe, but also it's a wonderful way to remember:
- Francis R. Scobee, Commander.
- Michael J. Smith, Pilot.
- Ronald McNair, Mission Specialist.
- Ellison Onizuka, Mission Specialist.
- Judith Resnik, Mission Specialist.
