Congrats to the Mama Goat Who Birthed Nigerian Dwarf Sextuplets

If you think birthing one baby is rough, put yourself in this mama goat's shoes! She birthed six Nigerian Dwarf babies on Tuesday night and it was a surprise for everyone. The folks at Half Acre Farm in Stoddard, New Hampshire predicted she may have been carrying between three and four babies but not six! This was a first; Four bucklings and two doelings. The mama goat's name is Aiyana and her baby daddy is YankeeFire. They must have their hands full with all of these kids. It's going to be a busy Summer.

We are so glad to hear that all of the babies are bonding with mom and getting that much needed colostrum.
