As a mom, I’ve learned it’s usually the simplest outings that end up meaning the most, like grabbing an evening ice cream with your family!

And if you’re already dreaming about ice cream season (like I have been), Cow Palace Creamery is officially opening for the season this weekend.

Get ready for some scoops of deliciousness on May 9!

What makes this place extra special? First of all, they serve Richardson’s homemade ice cream, which, somehow, I had no idea until recently. Between the homemade sauces, specialty milkshakes, sundaes, and endless flavor options, this already had my full attention as a foodie.

But honestly? The setting is a bonus!

Cow Palace Creamery gives you that true New Hampshire experience. Families can sit outside enjoying their ice cream while overlooking the farm, soaking in the fresh air and peaceful scenery. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy being together.

One Yelp reviewer described it perfectly, calling it a “super cute ice cream place with an idyllic outdoor area by a small pond with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables,” adding that the frappes, sundaes, flavors, and friendly staff make it even better.
