Mark your calendars for November 20, 2024 - a new cocktail lounge is opening up in Massachusetts, and it is super unique.

Most cocktail lounges are all really similar. Usually, cocktail lounges have unique drinks, a dimly lit area, and sometimes some music to enjoy while having a few cocktails.

So how do you make it different?

Location.

The new cocktail lounge opening up in Boston, MA, called D16, will be inside of an old police station.

And the designers of the lounge used that to their advantage.

Through Instagram videos and leaked photos of the lounge that has not even opened yet, I can gather that the designers of the interior of the lounge paid tribute to the Boston PD's past.

Once you walk into D16, located at 955 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02115, you feel like you are in a police station.

There are handcuffs hanging from the ceiling, images of most wanted criminals, an "innocent until proven guilty " sign, and a mysterious feel to what took place inside this former police station.

Of course, it is a cocktail lounge now and not a police station. So there is a gorgeous bar, fun and steamy drinks, and all the other things that come with a cocktail lounge like modern American Tapas.

There also seems to be live music through a DJ.
