It’s that time of year again, crisp air, mums and pumpkins.

According to their website, The Deerfield Fair in New Hampshire will be held September 26 through September 29.

Did you know that last year the Deerfield Fair weighed a pumpkin at 2528 pounds?  That’s the largest ever recorded in the U.S.

The gourd was grown by Steve Geddes of Boscawen.

That would be a sight to see, I wonder if he will top his record of last year?

You can take in a horse show, learn about Alpaca’s or watch a puppet show.  They will have magicians, musical acts, food vendors and pumpkins!  There will even be an appearance on the main stage by the world-famous Flying Walendas.

BTW I have personally seen the Flying Walendas and they are AMAZING! Very entertaining.

There is an awesome costume contest, for sheep and goats that is.  Rides and plenty of Fall fun.  What a great way to start the season.
