Since the late '90's Dierks has put out a catalog of music that gave us that feeling of freedom, of love, getting drunk on a plane or landing somewhere on a beach.  His music is feel good music.

Dierks Bentley's Music Can Make You Drive Really Fast

When "Free and Easy" comes on the radio if I'm driving, I have to turn it down.  Not that I don't love it, in fact, it's just the opposite.  I love it so much that it makes me drive really fast and sing at the top of my lungs.

Dierks put out Riser in 2014 and it was a song that he never thought would be played on the radio.  It's a powerful song and I'm really glad it made it.
