Dog’s Birthday Present [VIDEO]

Most listeners know that I work with the New Hampshire Police K-9 Academy, a non-profit group that trains police K-9 teams in 18 towns in New Hampshire and Maine. One of the things the trainers there tell me they look for in a dog is called "Ball Drive".This just means how driven the dog is to find something that is important to him or her. Each dog has a different favorite toy, it's not always a ball but that's usually where they start. If you throw a ball into a field of high grass, will the dog run in there and stay until the ball is found or does the dog give up after a shot while? You get the idea.
